Wave Systems becomes permanent member of TCG Board

A recent press release regarding the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) announced that Wave Systems had accepted an invitiation from the TCG to take a permanent seat on the board of directors, joining AMD, HP, IBM, Infineon, Intel, Lenovo, Microsoft, Sun and Seagate Technology. In addition, Wave has also raised its membership level to Promotor, the highest level within the TCG.
The president and chairman of TCG, Scott Rotondo, said as follows:
“Wave has distinguished itself as an ardent and vocal advocate of trusted computing and has dutifully carried the torch in promoting standards-based security.”
The executive vice president of marketing and sales of Wave, Brian Berger has this to say:
“We’re grateful to assume added responsibility in helping this organization bring forth open standards that impact every aspect of security today.”

I’m sure that cost them even more membership and sponsorship money than ever to buy in that permanent board seat.
It’s then more likely they go out of biz rather sooner than later and the nightmare with WAVE is then - fortunately - over.
Unbelievable how much money a legal firm is able to burn for producing mainly hot air. Their products however are way-off from being usable in a real-business-doing company.
Fix it: Close it!
