Although up to now the TPM has been available almost exclusively on a PC-based platform, with this latest announcement from Atmel the spread to embedded systems can progress.
The trademarked CryptoController, Atmel’s own implementation of the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) as specified by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), is now ready for integration into embedded designs.
