From NetworkWorld I have caught wind of a book by Daniel V. Hoffman entitled Security Technologies: The Complete Guide to Network Access Control.
The book covers what NAC (Network Access Control) is, how it can be applied in business, and how the main players, Cisco, Microsoft, and the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) have designed their architectures.
Furthermore, the book covers how LAN and mobile (or wireless) NAC needs differ, what threats there are to wired and wireless networks, and how NAC helps defend against each threat.
This sounds like useful reading for anyone involved in network security.
Full details may be found at NetworkWorld here.
