How to set up BitLocker on a Windows 7 computer

The site IT Expert Voice had a detailed how-to on configuring BitLocker, including how to enable the TPM, and even how to get around not having a TPM to enable. It’s a useful guide, although it also has the statement:
TPM chips are already used in some consumer devices to restrict video playback.
Is this true? As far as I know the only consumer device using the TPM is the Xbox360, and it’s for general protection rather than for this specific DRM role. I am aware that in the future the above statement might be true, but for now it is most likely not.
