Great Bay Software signs up to the Trusted Computing Group

Another company has joined the Trusted Computing Group (TCG), namely Great Bay Software. They bring to the table expertise in the field of network-based authentication.
Steve Pettit, president of Great Bay Software, said the following:
“Great Bay Software’s specific attention to discovering and provisioning non-authenticating devices and on behavior monitoring as a complement to network-based authentication are where we’ll have the most impact on the standardization process.”
Another company strong on network protocols indicates that the TNC (Trusted Network Connect) workgroup and their IF-MAP (Interface for Metadata Access Point) is perhaps the strongest-growing area of the TCG’s activities.
