SecurityFocus reported on the presence of a flaw in Intel’s Trusted Execution Technology. The researchers Rafal Wojtczuk and Joanna Rutkowska of Invisible Things Lab, said that they had:
found flaws in specific Intel system software (corrected) and a design issue that, together, would allow an attacker to “compromise the integrity” of any software loaded by the TXT boot loader.
Intel have been contacted by them, and they are investigating the extent of the problem.
