Computerworld worries about lost full disk encryption passwords

A legitimate concern highlighted by Computerworld regarding the TCG’s hard disk self-encryption standards is how do you recover from a lost password.

Thankfully, the TCG’s Storage Working Group thought of that, and techniques to alleviate the problem include a way to back up the data securely, and the ability to set a second administrator emergency password.
